Overlooking Meran, with a view across the beautiful Etsch Valley, lies the picturesque village of Dorf Tirol. The founding fathers of Tirol, whose castle is situated here, were immediately enchanted by the wonderful view and the pleasant climate. Dorf Tirol is one of South Tirol's premier health resorts.

In every season the visitor will find here a wide variety of impressions and recreational activities: from the flowering of the fruit trees in springtime, trekking in the nearby mountains such as the Texelgruppe Natural Park, bathing in the South Tirolean lakes, enjoying "new wine" in autumn, to skiing in the winter paradise of Meran 2000.

Our guests are particularly fond of the familiar atmosphere in our house and the South Tirolean cuisine. A special attraction during the summertime are the weekly barbecue parties and the country-style buffet.
